On paper everything was fine. Multi-six figure business. Growing audience. All the strategy. But I was empty. Depleted in a way that sleep couldn't fix. And I couldn't explain it to anyone because it didn't make sense.
It took me a while to understand what was happening. It wasn't burnout. It was spiritual pain. I had gotten ahead of God. I was doing everything in my own strength — building, pushing, striving, controlling — and I had stopped listening to Him. I was so busy building FOR God that I forgot to build WITH Him.
"God, where is the room for women like me? Women who love Jesus AND are building businesses?"
And He said — go build it.
So I did. It's called The Well. It comes from John 4 — the woman at the well who kept drawing from wells that left her thirsty until Jesus offered her living water. That's what I was doing. That's what so many of us are doing. Drawing from the wrong wells and wondering why we're still empty. The Well is the room I wish existed when I was standing in my kitchen crying over smoothies.
